Today’s growing economy craves young professionals with innovative ideas and the skills to make things happen. We saw an opportunity to provide a systematic and comprehensive overview of the travel and tourism industry to teach students the necessary skills to thrive in today’s rapidly-evolving global industry.
Our Mission…
To be world class in advancing innovative education, creating collaborative knowledge, and transforming future travel, hospitality and tourism leaders.
We saw the power of partnership between travel, tourism and school districts.
At the start, we drew from our own experience as travel professionals and we studied travel and hospitality programs aimed at fostering soft skills in education with the end leading to certification. A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization operating exclusively for educational purposes. School of Travel and Tourism works with industry leaders to deliver relevant, meaningful and rigorous coursework. We love to work with school district leaders to bring this to life. We created curriculum and added professional development to encourage teacher empowerment.
Serving Schools, Students, and Educators
We drew from our own experiences as travel professionals to create a vocational program focused on travel and tourism as a testament to our passion and dedication to the industry. Collaborating with business leaders and school district leaders to garner support and bring our vision to life demonstrates the importance of community involvement and partnership in education initiatives. Students have the opportunity to take the TAP exam to confirm new to the industry demonstrating a mastery of travel industry basics.
